Labor Day is right around the corner, and with it comes the traditional stretch run of campaign season. Early voting begins and ballots will be mailed on Oct. 7.

This week, a handful of public opinion polls were released regarding Arizona races for statewide office. Results vary, but most surveys show Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs with a durable lead outside the margin-of-error over GOP challenger Andy Biggs. Democratic incumbents for Secretary of State and Attorney General also lead, but by a much narrower margin, and the contests for Treasurer and Superintendent of Public Instruction look to lean Republican or be toss-ups.
