About Ryan
Ryan Sullivan is a legislative veteran with over a decade of experience at the Arizona Capitol.
As a fiscal policy expert, Ryan has been part of legislative negotiations for multiple state budgets, including plans that reformed state taxes and made historic investments in education and public safety. Additionally, he has extensive knowledge of public policy related to health and human services; water; insurance; natural resources; and economic development.
Ryan earned from Arizona State University his bachelor’s in Political Science and two minors in History and Global Studies, as well as a Master’s in Public Administration. While attending college, Ryan worked in Washington, D.C., studied religious conflict in Israel and taught English in South Korea. He now enjoys serving as part of the ASU School of Politics & Global Studies alumni advisory board.
Ryan grew up in East Mesa and now lives in Gilbert with his wife, Brittany, and their two children. He enjoys spending time with family, attending sporting events, traveling and playing golf.
