About Luis

Luis is the Legislative Liaison at Veridus, where he supports the lobbyists and clients in navigating the legislative process and advancing public policy priorities. 

​

His experience includes work as an immigration law paralegal, mass atrocity research with the ASU Leadership, Diplomacy, and National Security Lab, and advocacy as an Aliento Arizona Future’s Fellow. He also gained experience in the public sector as a trial extern with the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office and as a Constituent Services Intern for Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego.

Luis earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Justice Studies from Arizona State University, along with a minor in Spanish. A Phoenix native, he is fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language. Outside of work, he enjoys live music, cheering on the Phoenix Suns, and spending time with family and friends.
