John Fetherston is a State Capitol policy veteran with extensive experience in public affairs, political campaigns and government relations.
Prior to joining the Veridus team, John served for five years in the Arizona State Legislature, where he worked for the Senate Democratic Caucus as Policy Advisor for the Finance, Commerce and Appropriations committees.
During his work in the Senate, John worked on some of the highest-profile policy issues in recent memory. He possesses a keen knowledge of fiscal and economic policy, and has developed strong relationships with lawmakers and stakeholders on both sides of the aisle.
Prior to working at the Senate, John served as a senior staffer on congressional and legislative campaigns; a staff assistant at a Phoenix public affairs firm; and was a legislative intern at the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).
John graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s in public policy.
In his free time, he can usually be found enjoying the Arizona outdoors by golfing, playing tennis or hiking. John lives in Arcadia with his wife, Erica, and rescue pup, Zoe.
